WHAT IS A SECOND CUP CAFÉ CARD?
The Second Cup Café Card is a payment card that allows you to pre-load any dollar amount onto the card and then use it in café to pay for your purchases.
HOW DO I USE A SECOND CUP CAFÉ CARD?
You can load money onto your Café Card using Visa, Master Card, debit or cash. Then simply present your loaded card to pay for purchases made in café.
Each time you use the Card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance remaining. The Card will be returned to you each time, ready for your next café visit.
WHERE CAN I USE MY CAFÉ CARD?
Second Cup Café Cards can be used at any participating Second Cup café across Canada.
HOW CAN I OBTAIN A SECOND CUP CAFÉ CARD?
Visit any participating Second Cup café and ask a Sales Associate for a card. Determine how much you want to load on the card and how you want to pay – and the Sales associate will take care of everything.
ARE SECOND CUP CAFÉ CARDS RELOADABLE?
Yes, Second Cup Café Cards are re-loadable.
HOW DO I RELOAD MY CAFÉ CARD?
At any time, simply present your activated card to any Second Cup Sales Associate and ask to reload it with whatever dollar amount you choose.
Reloading works just like purchasing a new card, except that any balance you had remaining on your card will be added to the amount loaded, and your new balance will be the combined total.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY ON MY SECOND CUP CAFÉ CARD TO PAY FOR MY SELECTED ITEMS?
The remaining balance on your Card can be put towards your purchase and you then pay for the rest by Visa, Master Card, debit or cash.
WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY CAFÉ CARD?
By registering your Café Card, you protect its value against unauthorized use in the event of theft or loss. The replacement card value will match the balance of your registered card at the time it is reported missing. To register your Café Card simply visit the Café Card section of secondcup.com.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CAFÉ CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?
If your Café Card is lost or stolen, and was already registered, simply visit secondcup.com and click on Card Registration to report your missing card. Upon notification, we will freeze your remaining balance, transfer it to a new Café Card and mail you the replacement card within 5-7 business days.
DOES MY CAFÉ CARD EXPIRE?
No, Café Cards never expire.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN CHARGES OR SERVICE FEES?
No. There are no fees or charges associated with the Café Card.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET MY CAFÉ CARD’S BALANCE?
Any Sales Associate can check your balance in the café. Or log on to secondcup.com and use the “Check Card Balance” feature on the website.
HOW DOES SECOND CUP PROTECT MY PRIVACY AFTER I REGISTER MY CAFÉ CARD?
Under the secondcup.com privacy statement, Second Cup will not give or sell your name or personal information to other companies without your permission. Also, you control whether or not you receive additional information from Second Cup through the opt-out controls during card registration.
